A family-run oil mill producing award-winning extra virgin olive oils from ancient Ortice and Racioppella olive trees cultivated in the hills of the Caudina Valley.
The Oleificio del Sannio was founded in 1952 by the Cucciniello family and has been operating from the same stone building in Montesarchio for over 70 years. The mill processes olives exclusively from its own orchards and from a select network of local growers who adhere to strict quality standards.
The company produces two main lines: the traditional 'Vallecaudina' blend, pressed from Ortice and Racioppella varieties, and the premium 'Sannio DOP' single-varietal oils. Their products have won gold medals at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for five consecutive years.
The mill offers guided tours of the production facility and olive groves, with tastings available upon reservation.
