One of Sannio's most respected wineries, Fontanavecchia has been crafting expressive wines from native varietals since 1966. Their Aglianico del Taburno DOCG is recognized internationally as a benchmark for the region.

Founded in 1966, Fontanavecchia sits at the foot of Mount Taburno in Torrecuso, one of the most distinctive wine-growing areas of the Campania region. The estate covers 14 hectares of vineyards planted with native varietals including Aglianico, Falanghina, and Coda di Volpe.

The winery is guided by a philosophy of respect for tradition while embracing modern winemaking techniques. Their Aglianico del Taburno DOCG 'Vigna Cataratte' is consistently rated among the finest wines of Southern Italy, noted for its structure, complexity, and aging potential.
